Product Description: Exuding utter strength and beauty, the mighty white oak offers a hard and heavy wood. The medium light brown hue of this solid frame casts a slightly olive tint for a warm, natural color, and the surface is mildly textured by long, straight grains that maximize its form and figure. Featuring natural hardwood of an exceptional quality white oak, the frame’s clear finish allows the natural grain patterns to shine through.

Ideal for stretched canvas pieces (and not suitable for works on paper), the frame rabbet measures 1 9/16". A ¼-inch gap is automatically added between the canvas and frame to enable the artwork to “float” within it.
