It’s easy. Simply start with your frame. Shop our array of wood or metal mouldings or select a pre-designed frame treatment from our JustAddArt™ collection, upload your digital image and we’ll walk you through the rest. Next, browse our assortment of beautiful paper options, from all-purpose photo and fine-art photography papers to textured papers for reproducing watercolors and other digital media. Receive your print, custom-sized, custom framed, and ready to hang.
All prints are produced in-house by our experienced team of printing experts, with the upmost care for superior output, using archival inks paired with name-brand papers including Epson, Lasal, Hahnemuele and Canson. All frame and mat choices are PrecisionCut™ to your image and design specifications, expertly crafted and built to last.
Step 1:
Shop by metal, wood, color or style. Then ‘Customize This Frame ’ to begin.
Step 2:
In this case, choose ‘Print & Frame’ to upload your digital .JPG file and receive it custom printed, framed and ready to hang.
Step 3:
Choose a file from your computer, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram or from your American Frame Image Library, found under ‘My Account’. Use the Image Library to archive digital files for repeat orders. Uploaded images can then be optionally cropped or rotated as needed. Then, specify the size of your print by choosing a suggested size or by entering a custom size.
Step 4:
American Frame offers a great selection of basic, fine art and photographic papers chosen for their specific properties; brightness, surface texture, color and shine, to give you the best options in online digital giclee printing. Each choice is detailed for your review.
If you’re particularly discerning about resolution and color, add an optional 'Proof Set' to your order. We will produce two test prints, one showing the quality of the output and the second showing how the colors in your file translate to the paper of your choice.
If you’d like to see actual or printed samples prior to ordering, we have those available.
Step 5:
Our website will walk you through the rest. Experience the ease of creating your custom frame treatment online by visually swapping out materials, playing with proportion and building a look unique to you for your purpose, budget and style. If you have questions along the way we’re here for you, Here For the Art™, since 1973.
