Shoshana Kertesz, West Orange, NJ, Oil/Acrylic, 12 items in gallery Shoshana Kertesz was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1979. She wanted to be a painter from early childhood and studied with teachers Jozsef Baska and Katalin Renyi in the Montazs Art School in Budapest for four years. She immigrated to the United States in 2010 and currently lives in West Orange, NJ. Her figurative oil paintings have been exhibited throughout Israel, Hungary and the United States, including the Javits Center in New York City, the Gelabert Studio Gallery, and the Tivoli Artist Co-op where she is an associate gallery member. Her paintings and photographs have been published in several magazines and won multiple awards. She aspires to express her inner processes and communicate with the viewers through her art.
