Lineco Abaca Paper Hinging Tape is a self-adhesive tape used for attaching artwork and photographs to backing boards. Preferred when mounting works on paper that are lighter weight, thin, or brittle. Made from the strong fibers of the Abaca plant (manila hemp), it is lighter weight than linen so it will not show through thinner papers, yet still has strength. Abaca tape is acid-free, archival quality, biodegradable and is made from a self-sustaining plant.
