Stop the Stick with EconoSpace™ Artwork Spacers

Sometimes, you want to get a little deep. That’s where EconoSpace™ Artwork Spacers come in. They can be used when floating art on a mat board or creating extra depth and dimension between matted artwork and acrylic.

They also remedy common issues with acrylic, like sticking and paper buckling, so you can use it glazing without worry. They create an airspace between the art stack and the acrylic to prevent sticking, image transfer, and buckling. And because they have a neutral pH, there’s no need to worry about mold growth under your acrylic.

We offer clear spacers in 1/8" and 1/4" depths and black spacers in 1/4" depth. They can be ordered in lengths of 2’, 3’, and 5’ and each bundle contains 12 sticks.

Our peel-and-stick EconoSpace™ Artwork Spacers require no special tools. They are easily cut with scissors, electrician’s pliers, or a sharp knife blade.

We recommend black spacers for use with black frames and clear spacers for all other frames.

Both styles come with glossy and matte finished sides, so you can pick the finish that best accentuates your finished display. Their hollow design provides extra stiffness and lightness so they won’t sag in the frame.
