Why Father’s Day? Because my dad would have loved these frames. He would have been drawn to their weight, their presence, and the many possibilities they offer. Dark walnut, his favorite, was always a symbol of strength and enduring quality to him—and Alden’s highly polished finishes capture that spirit beautifully. These frames practically speak "Dad."

I can picture him using the smaller profiles for framing special documents or personal photographs. But the larger profiles? Those would have been right in line with his design aesthetic—think double-framing with metal, layering with linen mats (he loved linen mats!), and creating true statement pieces that commanded attention.
What makes Alden even more special is that it’s 100% American-made, through and through. From American-grown wood to domestic milling, and finally, careful crafting by our team of skilled American artisans, every step of the process reflects the pride and care he valued so deeply. As an Air Force veteran and a proud American, that’s a connection he would have appreciated.
