Image Limit in Our Online Art Gallery

When uploading artwork to our online art gallery, there are a few technical aspects that should be kept in mind to make uploading smoother, easier, and efficient. We’ll cover the basics here. Any other questions can be asked in the comments, on social media, or can be sent to customer.service@americanframe.com

What is the maximum file size for images uploaded to the art gallery?

The maximum file size is 50 MB. We recommend they are 300 PPI at the full size at which you want the image to be printed. You can see this information in Photoshop or any other image editing software.

Is there a limit to the number of images that can be uploaded into the art gallery?

No way! There is no limit to the number of images that you can upload.

What kind of images do you accept?

We accept JPEG and TIFF files in RGB format. You can check the format of your image by looking at its file name when open in Photoshop. See highlighted portion in the image below:

What are the size requirements for my icon in the art gallery?

The maximum size for the icon is 1MB. Our system will size the icon to 50 pixels at its smallest dimension. If the image is horizontal then it will size the height at 50 pixels and size the width proportional. If the image is vertical then it will size the width at 50 pixels and size the height proportional.

We’re always happy to help! If you have questions or concerns please let us know.

Valerie,

Not necessarily. You can still have a great resolution within the 50MB limit. Just make sure it's no less than 120 PPI at the size you'd like to print.

Since there is a 50mb limit, does that mean I can only print smaller dimensions?
