History

Since its beginnings in 1973, American Frame has become one of the largest providers of custom cut picture frames and framing materials to do-it-yourself framers everywhere. American Frame entered the picture-framing industry as a small family business, which began in a garage selling one style of frame, Standard, in three colors.

Today, we're still a family business, and we're still offering Standard. Only now we offer more than 200 metal and wood frames along with a complete line of mat board, plexi glass, mounting board and framing tools. We reach thousands of people nationally and internationally through our 54-page full color catalog, the Handbook, and via the web at www.AmericanFrame.com.

The Commercial Services Division, which was established in 1990, specializes in direct fulfillment of custom framed items for commercial clients. What began as an operation to provide framing services to west coast Wineries has since grown into a provider of custom framing for some of the nations top catalog and web based companies. Orders are shipped in bulk to distribution warehouses, or drop shipped directly to the customer from our state-of-art fulfillment center.

From providing custom cut framing materials to the do-it-yourself framing market, to supplying custom framed items to commercial clients, we have the knowledge and expertise to allow our customers to succeed.
