Bainbridge® Alphamat® Artcare Mat Boards
When artwork requires long-term protection look to the Alphamat Artcare collection. This 4-ply, 100% acid-free mat is ideal for the conservation framing of original art, limited editions and photography. 1/16" thick.

We'll custom cut your mats with beveled edges. You can specify different top, bottom and side border widths, as well as the shape of the opening. If you are not purchasing a frame today, there is a minimum order of 5 custom-cut mats.

You can also order multiple window mats through Customer Service. We ask that you send a detailed diagram by fax, mail or e-mail.

Buy an Assorted Box Full: 32" x 40" acrylic sheets, mat boards, and mounting boards are available, but must be purchased in multiples of 20, in any assortment of the three.

MAT STYLES: Mats have a smooth (slight texture) or a unique RAISED texture finish (larger samples below).

Note that due to differences in monitors, mat colors shown are at best approximations of the real thing.

ORDERING INFORMATION:

Pricing is at the bottom the the page. If you want to order more than five items, return and use this form again.

  • Without a frame purchase, the minimum order is 5 sheets (you can mix sizes)
  • Mat board can be custom-cut to the nearest 1/16"
  • The maximum sheet size is 32"x40"; minimum is 5"x5"
  • The cutout window board will accompany your custom-cut mat.
  • PLEASE BE SURE OF YOUR MEASUREMENTS. CUSTOM CUT MATS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
  • Over 54 United Inches, an oversize fee applies. United Inches are the sum of the Horizontal and Vertical measurements.
         - over 54 up to 65 UI: $25 oversize item surcharge
         - over 65 up to 90 UI: $75 oversize item surcharge

Border Side + Artwork (Opening) Width + Border Side = Total Board Width
Border Top + Artwork (Opening) Height + Border Bottom = Total Board Height

Boards custom-cut to a fraction of an inch are priced to the next whole inch.
Example: for a 17-1/2" length, use the 18" price.

The tables list the prices per unit of length.
The total price is Width plus Height.
