Scanning Service Providers
There are many companies who can provide scanning services. If your photo or artwork is 8-1/2" x11" or smaller, you can have it scanned. If it is larger, a high-quality digital photographic can be taken.Most copy stores and office supply stores offer low cost scanning services. Most offices -- and some of your friends! -- have scanners. Bring your original image to the store, office or friend's house and give the scan operator information on the file size you need. Use this tool to know what size to request.
Ask for the scanned image to be put on a CD for you, and then you can select that file when you upload it to our site.
"All in One" service (includes color print and CD)
We can handle the scanning for you with the DigitalCustom pre-paid mailer. This traceable method of delivering your images to us, and back to you, is very convenient.
For a cost of $75.00 you will receive:
- One professional scan of your photo
- Repair of damage and discoloration
- Digital colorization (if needed)
- Final edited image saved to CD
- Up to an 8"x10" color print (additional prints can be ordered)
