Introducing Our New EcoCare Earth-Friendly Mouldings
They’re new, beautiful and responsible -
We are proud to introduce our new EcoCare Collection from Nurre Caxton. This line of moulding is both easy on the eyes and on the planet. The wood to make these mouldings is harvested from managed forests that are carefully monitored. For every tree used one is replaced.
The rich colors are achieved with organic water-based stains. No oils or chemical solvents are used so they have very low impact on the environment.
The new EcoCare gives you, our customer, and us a choice we can feel good about making.
We’ve paired the new EcoCare mouldings with mats from our Bainbridge Alpharag Collection to frame Gallery Artist Judy Mercer’s beautiful watercolors. These 100% acid-free mats are made from the purest cotton rag pulp and have rich layers of consistent color through to the core.
We’ve selected Judy Mercer as our featured artist. Whether a marine scene or a floral, her paintings are filled with rich color and an underlying glow. Because of this we thought is would be fun to try brightly colored mats on her paintings rather than simply a neutral shade.
Judy’s love of painting in watercolors is evident in her award-winning work. She has been accepted into many juried art shows and exhibits including The Florida Watercolor Society’s Annual Exhibit. Her work also hangs in many private collections.
Judy has been painting in watercolors since 1994. After taking an introductory class in watercolors she painted on her own relying on books for further instruction. When she and her husband moved to Florida in 1998 Judy began taking regular lessons and attending workshops.
