Dust Disappears With Some Nifty Tools & Tricks
Keeping dust at bay when framing can be a challenge, but some simple planning and a few key tools make it easy. Start by choosing a clean surface on which to frame, then peel the front side of the acrylic’s paper cover off and lay it face-down on your artwork. This will create a seal. Next, remove the paper from the backside of the acrylic and check for any dust or lint. To remove particles, gently lift only the area of acrylic near the dust and brush with a static whisk. nbsp; Now transfer your acrylic into the frame, and put your artwork face-down on the cleaned backside of the acrylic. Finish framing. Use an acrylic cleaning cloth and acrylic cleaner or polish (never glass cleaner!) to give the front side of your piece its final flair.
